Lecture at ICSHPE 2018: Movement Intervention as a Tool of the Influence of Physical Fitness and Health

Works at the Charles University at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport and at the Laboratory of Sport Motorics.

The main topics he is concerned with are the evaluation of physical fitness, exercise physiology, obesity reduction, functional and physical testing in the laboratory and in the field, body composition, BIA methods, moving regimes for prevention in cardiac and obese patients.

He graduated from Technical University in Prague and he is a professor at the Exercise Physiology at the Charles University in Prague.

He is a member of Czech and International scientific societies, head of many research projects. He is also a member of the editorial board of a number of Czech and foreign scientific journals.

Erika Zemková

Erika Zemková

Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia

Lecture at ICSHPE 2018: Assessment of core strength and power under sport-specific conditions

She is a professor at the Department of Sports Kinanthropology of Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at the Comenius University in Bratislava. She also works as a researcher at the Technological Institute of Sports at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Slovak University of Technology. In 2008, she also graduated from the Institute of International Relations and Law Approximation at the Faculty of Law.
She has received fellowships for conducting research at foreign universities, including the Ronald and Eileen Weiser Professional Development Award, Fulbright Award, Aktion Österreich–Slowakei Stipendium, NATO Expert Visit Award, CIMO Fellowship, and for teaching activities through the Erasmus Program and bilateral agreements between Universities.

She was awarded by Coventry University Research Committee to be a Visiting Professor in Physical Education and Sport at the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at the Coventry University. Her scientific and academic work was noted for merit by the Slovak Academy of Sciences and the FPES.

Lecture at ICSHPE 2018: Running Biomechanics of Athletes with History of Achilles Tendon Repair

Works as an expert guarantor and head of the Department of Human Movement Diagnostic Centre and as a pedagogical adviser for the doctoral study of Kinanthropology.

The main topics he is concerned with are biomechanics of human motion and methodology of kinantropological research, biomechanics of human movement in the context of improvement of performance and prevention of injury and biomechanics of running.

He is a member of Czech Kinantropological Society, Czech Society of Biomechanics and International Society of Biomechanics in Sports. He also took part in many of International Symposiums of Biomechanics.

Jacek Wąsik

Lecture at ICSHPE 2018: Martial Arts in the context of health

He is a director of Institute of Physical Education, Tourism and Physiotherapy at the Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa at the Faculty of Education.

He is also a doctor of Physics and a Professor of Sports Science.
The main topics he is interested in are biomechanics of combat sports, training of martial arts in the context of improvement of health and quality of life,
and multidimensional model of improving functional efficiency of a human being.

He is also an Editor-in-Chef of International Scientific Journal “Physical Activity Review” (indexed in Web of Science and Scopus), a Member of Scientific Research Committee of All Europe Taekwon-do Federation and a coach of three World Champions in Taekwon-do.
